NAIROBI Ivan Perisic Croatia Jersey , March 27 (Xinhua) -- Kenya's former Chicago champion, Moses Mosop, is set to return to competition during the 2014 Volkswagen Prague Marathon on May 11 after recovering from the injury that forced him out of Boston.
The Kenyan ace who holds a lifetime best of 2:03:06 withdrew from Boston in February after suffering a knee injury while training in Eldoret that required him to stop training for two weeks.

"After an injury during my preparations for Boston, I thought that my spring marathon season is over before it started, but after consultation with my management team I've learned about interest from RunCzech and Prague Marathon organizers," Mosop, who won the 2007 World Cross senior silver medal said in a statement released by his management, International Athletics Consultancy (IAC) on Thursday.
"I am more than happy to compete in Prague and my goal is to achieve 2:06 or 2:07 and then take onto some fast and shorter road races in USA during summer before World Marathon Majors' event in autumn," the 2011 Chicago champion added.
The world record holder over 30,000m on track has raced only thrice since 2012, finishing eighth on his return to Chicago in his last outing last year.

2. Sole is slightly curved at the ball of the foot that works to transfer force and pressure to the toe while cycling
3. Adaptable while in use
4. Features either velcro straps or even more complex straps instead of laces
5. Unhooks easily
Types of cycling shoes soles
The stuff the sole is made of and degree of tread it ensures determines the weight of the shoe, which is vital to this special footwear. There are generally three kinds of soles available:
1. Economical brands feature an injection-molded plastic sole. However, they are heavier and prone to flexing.
2. Moderately priced brands have a combination sole, either made of plastic and carbon fibre, plastic and fibreglass, or completely carbon fibre.
3. Premium brands manufactured post-2002 use carbon fibre soles.
How do the cleats of mountain cycling shoes differ from others?
The kind of pedals your cycle features determines the cleat. A clipless type pedals requires some specific cleats. Mountain biking shoes generally come with a sunken cleat and studs lining the sole. This helps negotiate the tough terrains. These mountain specific cleats are smaller than those designed for road shoes (that generally have protruding cleats and are attached with three bolts) and are fixed to the shoe with two bolts.
